Currently 19.6% of all authors at the Icelandic royalty collection society STEF are women, women only own about 11% of registered works and similarly receive only 10.5% of copyright payments. If this is the case in Iceland I can imagine it is similar in other countries. So if you are doing some christmas covers this year and want to send some royalties to some badass female composers and lyricists I have put together a list with a few winter holiday songs by women.

Let’s get those royalties rolling!
